Desert

To many, deserts are vast wastelands of barren habitat with no redeeming value. But deserts are deceptive. Look closely, and you will see an amazing array of shrubs, cacti, and small trees, which erupt into riotous color in spring, while in years of generous rains magic carpets of annual wildflowers delight the eye with all the hues of the rainbow.
